To mark Alfa Romeo’s 110th birthday, the brand has decided to present a vehicle that represents a return to the origins of the iconic Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA of 1965. 

The Gran Turismo Alleggerita (GTA) originated with a specific version derived from the Giulia Sprint GTA in 1965. The sports car design was presented at the Amsterdam Motor Show that same year. Autodelta technicians from the official Alfa Romeo racing team developed the Touring category on the basis of the Giulia Sprint GT. From then on, the acronym GTA became popular in the public when it came to any sporty Alfa Romeo vehicles. 

During this milestone year for Alfa Romeo, the historic brand plans to go back to their roots and present Alfa enthusiasm with the Giulia GTA.
